Buckridge Private School Soccer Shines

On 6 August 2026, the primary school soccer teams of Buckridge Private School travelled to Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, where they faced Curro Mbombela in an exciting day of competitive soccer. 

Our young soccer stars took to the field across three age groups, displaying remarkable determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the matches. Each team gave its best effort and proudly represented Buckridge Private School.

The U13 team produced an outstanding performance, securing a thrilling 3–2 victory over Curro Mbombela. Their determination and teamwork saw them battle hard for the win, earning a well-deserved congratulations. 

The U11 team also put up a strong fight in a closely contested encounter, eventually going down 1–2 to Curro Mbombela. Despite the result, the team showed great character and perseverance. 

Our U10 team faced a tough challenge and lost 0–2, but the young players continued to give their best until the final whistle. Their effort, enthusiasm and willingness to learn were commendable.

A special congratulations goes to our U13 team on their fantastic 3–2 victory!At Buckridge Private School, we are incredibly proud of all our players. Regardless of the results, every learner demonstrated commitment, courage, discipline and team spirit while representing the school. These matches provided valuable experience and an opportunity for our young athletes to grow both on and off the field.
